    Default A/C system Filter?

Does anyone know if a 1995 coupe has a filter in the evaporator box for the dash A/C? I am looking at a parts book that shows a filter in the evap box, but in parentheses it says LT5 after the 92-95. Why would the ZR1 have a filter and the rest not?

Does you Operators Manual show anything regarding the replacement of the A/C air filter?

No it doesn't, but I don't think the ZR1 does either.

I guess that was a new concept that was being tried at the time. I know that my 2000 Monte Carlo SS has the filter and there is information about the filter in the Operators Manual. That's why I was asking.

I know there is a couple of things in the Operators Manual for my 2007 Vette that doesn't match up with what I received with my car. I guess it is some of that mid-production run cahnges and some things get over looked. Good Luck.

On my '07 the filter can be accessed from the engine compartment on the passenger side. I realize that there are obvious differences between each generation, but that might be a place to start looking. Good Luk!!
