My Corvette(s): 2000 Coupe 6 speed & 1996 Coupe Automatic | Chrome C5s on my C4?
Not sure I got the size right (17s front, 18s rear) in the photoshop quickie job.
Can shrink em or try adjusting the lighting a bit.
Am I barking up the wrong tree on these? (should I try another style?)

Rain,
Just put Polished Z06 wheels on my brother-in-laws 92 coupe and they look awesome. I don't have the pic's with me tonight but will send you some tomorrow from the office.

Scott, yes, I was looking at some reproduction Z06 wheels last week. Great price on these chromed C5 (1998) wheels came up. Just not sure its right........

Rain,
I agree with Scott on the Z06 rims. They look awesome on C4's and the chromed Z06 wheels look outright bad@$$. | |

They look great. I am a fan of keeping stock wheels, but these look real good.

Not bad at all but I prefer the ZR1 wheels in chrome myself. Almost too much wheel there in IMHO. Personally not my favorite wheel design for the Vette.

My Corvette(s): Blk/Blk '96 LT4 Coupe | let me add
I do really like the Z06 rims yet IMHO putting wheels from a different generation Vette on yours just doesn't work for me. It'a C4 not a C5 so I'd stick w/ wheels from the C4 era otherwise it almost looks like you are trying to make you're ride a Z06 or a C5 or whatever. It would be like putting C4 wheels on a C3...it just wouldn't work. Just some food for thought.

Pull the trigger and get those mounted. If you like them, do it. Chrome looks great on these cars.

I think the ZR-1 style polished or chromed (or black) would look better. But I am biased.

Doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks, if you like them, go for it. I chose them because I think they compliment the look I was going for (see sig), so my advice is try (photoshop) a couple of different styles and pick the one the provides you the look you are going after -- just my .02
