    Default I would , but...

The kit for my C-4 is waaaay too sparse. I understand, from an earlier chat, that the film is not available in uncut pieces.

Gosh, how I'd love to protect the snozzolas of ALL my cars!

Nice guy, though, to chat with.

Whale piolet , just think of how many kits they would sell for pick-ups if they made them . Everyone who has one of those ugly , sometimes noisey bug deflectors on their hood would buy the cleartastic . So what are you cleartastic guys waiting for ? ! Cliff

    Default web says.....

Searched for 'clear auto bra' and hit quite a few. This is really taking off, nationwide. After talking with a local C-5 owner who applies these to many cars. He claims that paint is softer now and this film is gaining quick followings. Also:
    A. 3M has a good film which MAY be easy to apply, depending on the complexity of the curves your protected area has. A very good product, available in custom, machine-cut kits. May show a bit orange-peely with certain colors.
    B. Other, totally non-orange-peel films will be available, mid-January. Seems there will be three, including the 3M. There is no 'best', as some stretch better, while others are shinier, or less durable.
    C. The films apply similar to the window tinting sheets. While not rocket science to apply, there is patience and skill demanded, which comes through experience with the product and various applications. The more precise the kit is cut from the large sheets, the better the result, as well.
    D. A pal sells sheets of this stuff to various industries and says a PRO should also remove it, else the clear coat may leave the car with the film.
    E. Another pal has an auto body shop, selling 4" wide 3M rolls of film. Check around if that suits your "T".
