Default what kind of vette is this?!?!

hi everybody, i'm a newbie here, i don't have a vette, but have been a vette fan since i could talk. i just registered to ask everyone and anyone who might be able to help a question...my friend is not the type to bull**** me at all; his dad has a vette which he's giving to my friend. i just saw the car and it's really nice, my friend's not sure of all the details and i can't find anything on this car, but he said it's a limited edition 1 of 50 made. it's an 86 coupe, 2 tone stock paint( chamaigne top, metallic brownish bottom), it came stock with BBS wheels, and my friend said it has 400hp, the interior looks a little nicer than usual too, it's got wood trim, charcoal or black seats(not sure), and it has a targa top. that's all the details i can remember...can anybody tell me what this thing is? maybe a tuner's factory altered car or something? shoot me an e-mail, i probably won't check back. any info you can give would be much appreciated, thank you

Malcolm conner it probably looks just like mine. 400 hp? Its not stock? 20 autos, 30 manuals made. CAC has some data on it. Tint blue targa top, graphite leather seats, among other things.

Default Welcome

nighthawk355x

Welcome to a great forum. It sounds like your friend is getting a jewel!

My family lived in Westfield during the early 70's, just up the road, before the epa squashed the horsepower race.

You didn't list your age in your profile but sound young. I can remember my uncle's Chevy dealership having a '53 in the showroom and he let us sit in it and play like we were driving.

But the most WANT IT moment was in '56 upon seeing the cove sided model.

In '02 I bit the bullet and bought one.

Don't wait so long!
