Default idle question

im having a problem with the idle on my `90. i put on the super ram all three pieces, 58mm tb, 36# injectors. now the car will idle around 800 then jumps to 15 hundred and stays there after about a few minutes. the idle is not erratic or hunting. just a nice lumpy idle and then it jumps. i wonder which sensor is telling the computer to idle up. at least thats what i think. what do yall think? i replaced the 02 and the map sensor. i had posted a few days about it jumping to 3 thousand. that was false. after checking the timing today my tack is about 13k off according to the snap on timing light we were using. we set it on 12 deg pos. good or bad?

1986 White Conv't L98 modify and dyno at 309HP
Default

I had a similiar problem with my '86 L98 after changing the TB. I replaced the IAC valve and the problem disappeared.

Hope this helps.

Default computer probs.

well i did do that. not with a new on but i took the one off that came with the tb and put the factory tb valve on. same problem. i dont want to bother yall no more with this cause i think i have a bad computer. the way iv been driving it is to unplug the 02 sensor and it idles perfect, rich as hell but no 2k plus idle. also no check engine light with it unplugged. hence computer probs??? some people out of colorado are going to burn me a new eprom specific to my mods with a new computer. we shall see... thanks.
