Default ¡¡¡Calling British Vettes, Need Help!!!

I am importing my Vette into the UK next week. I need a set of British headlights inorder to pass the MOT.
I would love to ¨rent, borrow, or in worst case buy a pair¨. I will only need them for one day.
If you can help me out please let me know ASAP. We will leave Spain on the 16th. And arrive in the UK on the 19th. The MOT is scheduled for the 21st.

PM or e-Mail (speedkarts@terra.es) me if you can lend a hand.

Thanks,

I would never think that exporting a car would be that much trouble. I thought the e-check people were tough!

Good luck!

Headlights should be no problem, buy beam deflectors and fit to your existing units - cost around £5 a pair.
Look out for your rear lenses. You'll need amber indicators. Also they will like to see a fog light. This can be taken care of using your central brake light.

Any more help needed let me know.

Thanks 94LT1,

Using the 3rd. eye as the fog lilght is a great idea. I wired it up to the front fog light switch last night.

Tom at Claremont Corvette sorted out the head lights for me.

Swansi and Customs & Excise have been spot-on.

We will arrive in the Dover on the 9:30 boat monday morning. The weather man says we might even see a bit of Sunshine whilst in the British Isles.

Looks like I´ll need to stick a Union Jack in Franco´s hand.
