At least you are able to remove the lense and I'm sure the '94 can't be as bad as my '87, or the others that were before removable lenses and you had to reach for them from behind. PITA!

i got under my vette just now and there is NO room for me to stick my arm. i love seeing all that styrofoam though. i read in other threads that i need to take out the back up lights in addition to the license plate to reach the lens. is this gonna take all day or an hour or so.

If you have a 94 all you have to do is push in on the bulb and
turn it then pull it out.

Caveat, this is for a 94-96 Vette:
Hopefully you have skinny arms... if not, you are going to lose some skin.
Here's the way to do it.
Remove the lisence plate, reach in to the hole and feel for the back of the bulb. There is a "safety tab" like you see on some pill bottles that has to be depressed before you can rotate the bulb 1/4 turn and pull it out of the housing.
Replace thebulb and reverse the procedure. A shop towl on the edge of the opening will make for less blood loss if your arms are man-sized...

by george i got it. i see what you were saying about the pill bottle lock. i practiced on the back up lights when i pulled the one side out. since the bulb came out without the base i kinda knarled it up when i pulled it out of the plastic holder. now i gotta get a new bulb and do it all over again. in reverse! thanx for all your help.
