ADS being the company that manufactured SuperChips? I think they're out of business. I've got one from my '86, and I think it did no good at all.

I've got one of Jeff's custom proms. We're slowly changing the program as I add more mods; right now with almost everything stock, his chip runs a tiny bit faster than the ADS one did with the same mods. I expect, with the new intake I'm putting on, that it will be a LOT faster than with the ADS.

Now note that I never had a stock chip to compare to; I discovered the ADS was there when I was installing Jeff's prom. However, at the strip, even with the ADS the car was performing exactly how a stock '86 L98 4+3 should be - mid 14's. So either the car would run SLOWER than normal with a stock chip, or the ADS does nothing noticeable. The car does have 140k miles on it, but at that point it should be just loosening up!
