    Default EGR solenoid...again!...HELP

Thanks to all those who read my post requesting info on the EGR solenoid diagram. Unfortunately, it seems no one can supply a digram for this. So, here is my next request. As I stated in the earlier thread, my emissions sticker shows the EGR solenoid in the front of the engine driver side, which does match up to the pigtail socket that fits it, however, I can find no vacuum lines to run to it nor a place to bolt it in. The Chiltons repair manual states that it is located at the rear of the engine passenger side. My pigtail will certainely not reach that far. So... if someone could be so kind as to snap a digital photo of their EGR solenoid and location(1987), that would help out a bunch. Thanks to all fellow Vette owners!

My "Corvette Fuel Injection" book's diagram show that it is near the front of the engine on the driver's side. Should be next to the intake runner for cylinder #1.
