'89 AC Help!!!!!
My '89 coupe uses R12 and I noticed that the high pressure side schraeder valve is leaking. I went to change it out and my tool wouldnt quite fit....is it one of GM's special "high flow" valve cores??? How do I tell and mor importantly where can I get some? I went to the GM dealer and their parts book did not show the cores as service parts and the high side tube is no longer available.
It's gonna get hot in here!

The high side service charge valve does not have a threaded schrader valve core and it cannot be removed, using a conventional schrader valve core remover.

Thanks for the link to the tech tip. However, mine does not resemble that illustration. there is the normal shraeder valve center pin sticking up (with a slightly larger "mushroom" head). When I use a core tool it rotates.
Does that give any clue?
Thanks!
