My Corvette(s):
| Mobil 1 oil
I just recently bought my 1991 coupe and cant determine if synthetic oil has been used before. With 39000 miles on it is there any problem in using Mobil 1 5W-30 from now on. Opinions, etc??

Nope, should be no problem. Switched when I first picked up mine.
No special preparation is necessary when switching from conventional motor oil to Mobil 1 with SuperSyn™. quote from www.mobile1.com

My Corvette(s): LT4 - Cam, exhaust,intake / '03 Z06 - stock |
One of the Walmarts here in Murfreesboro carries the 5qt. container for 18.88. They went up a dollar since my last purchase but still a bargain.

Mobil 1 oil and filter, the only way to take care of an "American Icon like the Corvette", I put it in/on as soon as I purchased mine and my oil temp went down and Pressure went up........it is some great stuff.

My Corvette(s):
| definitely Mobil!
I actually save money by using it
After three months I drain it out of the vette and put it into my daily driver. I've been doing it for years with no ill effects. I'd rather have 3 month old Mobil in my VW than the 99cent/litre crap.
