96 Sun Visor Installation
Can someone share the secret to reinstalling the Sun Visor spring and retainer? How can I compress the spring and get the retainer down far enoung to start the nut?
Thanks for your help

Sun visor reinstall
I did that project a year ago. If my memory serves me, I used a small socket and extension like a nut-driver to press the nut down on the spring and onto the threaded stud. it wasn't terribly difficult.
As a side note, I used the padded vinyl black sunvisors off of a wrecked Chrysler sebring to replace the ratty originals. they look great and cost about $12 for a pair at a pick-it-yourself wrecking yard. I swapped the hardware (that I had taken off months earlier) and reinstalled them in a few minutes.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to use the electric supply for the mirror for a radar detector!
Good luck!!
