Default 1993 Ruby production information needed...

Hey all, first let me intro. myself.....
Tony Basica, born and raised in Chicago at my fathers body shop where he specialized in fiberglass vehicles, namely vettes, so for me they are pretty much a staple in our garages LOL...

My father has a 1959 he has owned for 40 years as of this past April !!!

O.K. now for my question, I have found all the sites that state the production numbers but I am looking for something more specific, I am looking to find out how many 40th Ruby's were produced as coupes with the FX3 option ???

    Thanks all !!
BTW the rest of the garage kids are...
    1959 Red/Black convertible
1989 Maroon/Tan coupe purchased wrecked at auction
    1979 Red/Red T-tops currently under resto-mod work
1993 Ruby red (2 of them)

    Chow for now,
    Tony

    Well... *sigh*this is a poser.
Although you said you "...have found all the sites that state the production numbers..." Check www.idavette.net/facts/93.htm
I haven't looked at the site since '02, so I don't even know if its still up and running, but I do have a printout of production numbers. It reads: RPOZ25--the 40th Anniversary Pkg.---6,749. I take it that includes coupes and verts. RPO FX3 5,740 in a model year that produced 15,898 base coupes and 5,692 convertibles. Roger's Covette Center states: of the 448 ZR1s, 220 were ordered with the 40th Anny pkg. So, there's a math problem for you. Not sure it helps you much, but thar ya go.

    Default Thanks much....

unfortunately that is the same information I have found elsewhere and it only brings me down to approx. 5220 vehicles non ZR1 that were produced with the FX3

    Thank much though,
    Tony B.

    Default Dwindling numbers....

I'm getting closer, I have narrowed it down to 2828 Ruby's that were NOT ZR1 or ZO7 or 6-SPEED or CONVERTIBLE, so I'm getting closer !! Only problem is that I'm using the 40th registry which does not use the FX3 option to narrow a search so I can't get the search any narrower :^(
    Oh well, getting closer LOL...

Have you checked the CAC tech center ??

RPO Z07 was available with either automatic or manual transmissions and included RPO FX3, heavy duty suspension components and heavy duty brakes.

I have been checking the production info for my black coupe Z51 with Gray int for years now.
