    Default Car seat cover

    Hi

I need some help finding beige seat covers for my 96 LT1 with sport seats.

I know they sell the seat covers for standard seats, but they always say "not for sport seats.

All of the controls for the sport seats are not on the seat so what gives.

Has anyone put the reg seat covers on the sport seats without a problem.

    Thanks

    Alan

Wet Okole has covers specifically for sport seats. Here is the link.

I am looking into a set for my 91 standard seats. I understand they fit well, are made well and last a while.
The down side is they are located in CA and HA so there would be shipping costs and you would have to installthem yourself
    Good luck

    Default Do It Yourself...

Hey why don't you saw the covers at home yourself??? Go and buy the material from a local store, bring it home. Measure the seats first and mark the material with a soap bar, and then cut the pieces (1/2" larger than the measurements for the stitches). Get yourself a sawing machine (like Zigzag, Singer or Juki) and do the sawing. Take a pair of sciccors and cut the excess material from the sides. Turn over the cover and iron them well. Last thing, place them over the seats. That's how my grandma was used to do it for my grand dad's 1943 Corvette...

    Default Sew!!!!

I don't own a sewing machine and as far as the fabric that's my business!

The Okie look terrific but the cost is too high for my needs. My seats are fine just would like to protect them over the winter.

The cloth ones in the catalogs would be perfect if they fit right.
