Default Ten Commandments of Corvette Owners

hey ya'll...new to the forum...got my 96 LT1 coupe about 18 months ago...loving every minute of it....thought i'd pass on something i came across a while back:

    Ten Commandments of Corvette Owners:

    I. Thou shalt not loan a Corvette to anyone.

II. Thou shalt not bring a Corvette to an automatic car wash.

III. Thou shalt not fail to wave to a fellow Corvette owner.

IV. Thou shalt not swear at Corvette - for it is very tempermental.

    V. Thou shalt not cruise a Corvette on an unpaved road.

VI. Thou shalt not pass a fellow Corvette owner in distress.

VII. Thou shalt not feed a Corvette with budget grade fuel.

VIII. Thou shalt not expose a Corvette to severe weather conditions.

IX. Thou shalt not forget to activate Corvette alarm.

    X. Thou shalt not acknowledge a Porche or 280Z as being true sports cars.

When making repairs on thine car, thou shalt always have a bolt or two left over.

Thine CS-130 alternator bearing shalt groan like a beast when thou is in the boonies, and thine voltage shalt plummet.

It is decreed that there shalt be a 20% "Corvette tax" on all replacement parts.

Brand new door panels shalt be more valuable than gold.

The wicked shalt park right next to you even when thou parks far, far away in an isolated part of the parking lot, far from the entrance.

Thou shalt enjoy the envious glances of men in Dodge Caravans.
