Default Recalls on 96's???

Hi

For some reason my mind went blank, where l can look up recalls for model year?

Were there any recalls that stands out that covered the 96 LT1?

There is nothing wrong just curious.

Thanks

Alan

Corvette black book lists most of the recalls for each year & it's a good read too

Default Glued together!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

While reading the new issue of "Magazine Corvette" l was reading an article that stated that the reason the 96 corvette is quieter then the previous C4's is that their body panels has adhesive that holds them together!

The reason that l'm bringing this up is that l drove in a 94 and l heard noise's that l do not hear in mine.

Now that is a good reason to buy a 96!

And the C5 is even quieter and then the C6 is almost perfect.

This bothers me because l thought the purpose of a sports car is to be loud, rough and have a lot of rattles.

They just don't build cars like they used to.

I have to agree with you kingman on a 96 being a little quieter than a 94. I owned a 94 six-speed; it was a GREAT car, ran like a charm, I put 66,000 fun miles on that car.

I traded my 94 in on my current 96. The more I drove my 96, the more I noticed the 96’s “calmness” in the interior compared to my 94. The calmness was subtle, you’d have to be familiar with the two cars to really notice. At 51,000 miles on my 96, it’s a little more subdued than my 94 was. I don’t have the squeaks and rattles that my 94 did. Only on cold mornings, say below 50º is when I’ll hear a interior rattle here and there.
