My Corvette(s):
1994, artic white, zo7, coupe, with a six speed.
Default ZO7 Confidence.

I would like to hear from those fellow ZO7 owners that have the confidence that I have in the curves. When Im on the road other cars attempt to hang, but when the curves are present and they realize that Im not hitting the brakes, and their headlights become very small. The ZO7 suspension is very good and I love It.

Don’t have a Z07, but a buddy of mine purchased a used, ’95 6-speed Z07...

I went with him to check it out before he purchased it as this was his first Corvette. He wanted me to drive it to see if everything was in order.

I’m glad I drove it! I fell in love with the Z07 setup. The quick ratio steering is a lot nicer than what my LT4 has, the Z07 handling was noticeably “crisper”.

Upon opening the hood, I noticed the larger sway bars and matching 17” GSC’s all the way around -- a lot of rubber on the road. It felt easier to place the car in corners, I felt more connected to the Z07 handling wise than in my FE1 suspensioned LT4.

I drove it a few more times after he had had it a while, that car was exciting to drive in the twisties every time.

Thanks for responding. Just wanted to be sure that it was not my imagination.

ohsobad,
It’s not your imagination, the Z07 can boogie.

I have a 91 Z07 with all of R-DRacings, goodies: Camber Brace, Cross Frame and S/T Frame (roll bar). Its and exceptionally tight handling Corvette per comments from a couple of EVO School instructors. I love it. Don't push to the limit though on public roads because of unexpected variables like gravel debris, dust, oil dried mud, etc. that could abruptly alter the surface and friction. I'll save the bonzai stuff for the track.
