    Default Hub Bearing trouble ?

I have been told by the dealer service manager that the left rear Hub Bearing in my 96 vette is loose and should be replaced. The car only has 55,075 miles on it and I don`t race it, so how can they be bad. I know that rear bearings can go bad, so I`m not ruling the possibility out that they are bad, I just want to make sure that I`m not going to get ripped off by the dealer.Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
