    Default Shipping a car

Considering a corvette in Detroit area. I live in Winnipeg. I am giving some thought to having it shipped to somewhere in ND posibly Grand Forks(though open to other ideas as to where to pick it up), picking up there, driving it to Winnipeg and clearing it myself through both Customs services. Any suggestions as to reputable shipping companies would be appreciated. Many thanks.

I used DAS, from Kentucky to Spokane, WA. It got here quicker than they expected. Try to ship it to one of their depots. Much cheaper. Email them and find out the closest location, it cost extra for specific locations.

    For customs you need:
    the bill of sale
    Title(clear title)
    proof of purchase
    recall clearance letter

The US customs needs this 4 days in advance. The Canadian side is a joke, it takes about 15 minutes.

And then you need it to pass inspection. Canadian Tire is the cheapest.

Finally when all done you can
