Default Road race, auto cross, HELP

I have been looking for some info on the road race vettes but not having much luck. I would like to either build one, or buy one, (just a roller). I have been itching to get back into some sort of racing and I think these would be a bunch of fun. Anyone know who sells parts for these cars (bodys, chassis), or a place to buy them? I really don't care what it is, GT car, production, touring etc etc. I woudl like to keep my options open, just looking for a fun car to mess around in. There are lots of nice road tracks around me and i'd love to go play. prefere a tube chassis of some sort.

Any ideas on parts, used cars, bodys, websites, ?????
thanx guys

Default Info and what you really want.

Since your unsure of what your looking for... I would suggest hanging around the tracks and talking to the owner of the type of cars or setups that you find interesting and see about getting a ride if possible from them or just talk to them.

Find out what they are using and where they got it from.

No i'm not familiar. But i'll check out the website. What are they all about?
I have been looking for a good series or some club to race with but not sure what all is out there; i have noticed from reading the website that the SCCA is kind of a pain in the butt. The scca does not run all that often, lots of rules and they require yearly sports physicals Too much hassle for me.

I'll look at this clubracingaz site
