Brake lite switch

There are two switches on my brake pedal, 1990 ZR1, one has what looks to be vacuum line. I am assuming that is the cruse control switch. It has a plug on the back with no wire conected to it. I am trying to get my third brake light to work. Do I replace the switch next to it with the two plugs on it?

If the brake lights work but the third light does not, it's not a problem with the stop light switch. It's likely to be trouble with the wiring harness leading up to the CHMSL or burned out blubs.
