Default Poly Bushing install

I purchased sway barsW w/poly bushings for my vette My question is how do you install the bushings on the sway bar? The plastic looks harder and if I pry the gap(in the bushing) open, it looks like there is a potential for the bushing to crack/break in half. (Marine Corps testosterone can break damn near anything!) Seriously, do I need to do anything special to the bushings to get them on the sway bars? Thanks,
Chiller

No just open them up and slip them on. The poly bushing will have enough give. One thing you may want to do is add a little greese to the bushing between the bushings bore and the OD of the sway bar. This will help in reducing the "squeke" they poly bushing may have.
