    Default Pls advise?ZZ4 or ZZ383?with which trans 200r4 or 700r4? 308 gears

ok, Im not wealthy, just sold the boat and have money to dream spend on my 75 vert. Im going with a crate engine and will purchase a new tranny to drop in a complete engine tranny swap for my 350ci,th400..
I only take weekend cruises (not a daily driver), would like to have the tires bark at shift points and still have great manors?(am I asking too much?).. For the engine Ive been looking at the ZZ4, or the ZZ383,and for the trans, 200r4/or700r4?.with my 3.08 rear gears. What will be the best combo choice? Ive been searching the FAQs and am still scratching my head.
I know about the trans mounting and requirements for lockup requirements.and shorting the drive shaft... but what combo really is the best?. I want this to be a ONE time investement ,and not have to replace the trans in the future.
the Ft & rear suspension has been replaced with quality Hi Po parts. , interior and exterior are next after drivetrain. (but presently look great).
Thanks for all the help Ive recieved in the past.
    save the wave.

I too have questions about the 700r4 as to what performance parts to install so that it isn't blownup right away. As for you, I would choose the 383 and the 700r4. With a 3.08, the overdirve ratio of the 200 4r may have you bogging the engine at highway speed. The wider gear ratio split of the 700r4 could conceivably drop your shift rpm down to the maximum torque level of the 383. With bigger servos and better clutches inthe trany she will BARK.
