weird sound while driving

yeah, yeah i know... the infamous sound...
but while i'm driving through town ... about 30mph, i hear a sound coming from the passenger side, it sounds like running over a short line of leaves (clicking or ticking), like paper almost.
it stops, then happens about 1/2 to 2/3 mile later
...any ideas??
