Default Best Red Paint for a Shark?

Well, driving season is over here in Finland and our Vettes won't be seeing much tarmac before April at the earliest...

After some body work, my '73 coupe will today be traveling to the paint shop. Since I got a good deal, what was to be a partial paint turned into getting a full paint job.

The car is/was LeMans Blue, which is a nice color and all, but I've maybe started to believe the theory that "all Corvettes are red" and am considering painting it Red

I'd very much appreciate your opinion and advice regarding which paint and hue look best on a C3?

    Best regards,
    Arto

PS. Mind you, the red color is not (yet) set in stone, and I'm open to suggestions about other good colors as well

I vote for Mille Miglia Red (circa 1972) followed by Torch Red (2002)

I second that notion considering my 73 is Millie Miglia Red.....

Thanks for the suggestions, Mike & Rob Do you have any good pics of Sharks painted Mille Miglia or Torch Red? Is Torch Red more or less orange than Mille Miglia?

Also, I'd love to see pics of the Magnetic Red color on a C3, but haven't been able to find any...

Going to visit the paint shop now... I'll have to make a decision by Monday latest and admit to feeling a bit under pressure. Also playing with idea of Electron Blue or charcoal like Steel Cities Grey, so as said, red is not set in stone yet...

    Default Magnetic Red it is

Thanks for the input. I've settled on Magnetic Red. I still haven't found pics of C3s dressed in this color, but it should look great

The paint shop owner was actually somewhat disappointed, I guess he would have liked to do a brighter "real" red like Torch Red. But I prefer a darker metal color myself, so Magnetic Red (II) it is.

The next question that I'll have to decide is whether I should make use of this opportunity to remove the luggage rack. I probably won't dare as everything I've heard about it would suggest it's very difficult if not downright impossible to get it done so that the spots won't show up later on...
