I really don't think it has one, the shop manual mentions one tied into the doors, tops & hatch (lt blue, ckt 263) but the wiring diagram doesn't show it.
I have looked before and gave up.
I will look at my info and double check.

I don't think is has one either,my shop anual shows one,but I think the 82's have a plastic cover on the right side of fire wall

covering 4 wire connectors,on early ones that is a solid metal piece and it is mounted on the side of that. I just wanted to be sure someone elses CE was like mine.

On earlier model year cars, the theft alarm hood switch was almost always near the passenger's hood latch on the cowl. Have you checked the 82 AIM? I would think the position would be the same for all 82s and not exclusive to the CE.

Quit looking, the NCRS 1980-82 Technical Information Manual says the '82 did not have a hood switch.
