Default 1972 Corvette LS7 - Loads of pictures and movie clips

Hi! After request I have built this car with my father (Corvettelars), so that we could have something to do together
The really cool thing about this car, is that ist FAST! But not just in the straight lines, but also in the corners ! This C3 can follow a modified C5 Z06 on the track some more modifications now, to get rid of the understeer we have, and it will drive away from them

It started of like this, with a modified 350 engine

Then theese 18" Foose 500 rims where ordered and installed

We installed some coilovers from QA1 in the front and some fiberglass leaf springs in the back to, and SSBC Force 10 brakes all around.
After a while we installed a spoiler in the front to

Then the winter came... The LS7 swap began!!

    Old engine out

    Old V.S. New

Lakewood bell clutch housing, and wilwood hydraulic clutch

    Home made enginemounts

New housing instead of the A/C, custom made

    New LS7 in

You can se the Drysump oil tank from petersen racing to the left in the picture there

New custom made instruments in KM/T goes up to 320km/t
    Interiour:
Shark bar installed (not installed anymore though)

    CHAOS

New seat(s) (not in now anymore)

    The brakes

    Powerfilters

    And after the first trip

    LOVELY

The spoiler is going on an of all the time, it doesnt like speedbumps and gravel soo mutch :p

    New bigger exhaust to

Michael / Lars, thanks for the post! (I can't see the pictures or videos because I'm at work, but I'll see them later for sure!)

I'd also suggest posting the videos over at VetteTube.com. That's our sister site and videos can be embedded here on this site!

Very nice! A 1.125" GM front bar and 9/16" GM rear bar should help w/ the understeer. At least it did for me but then I have an iron block.
    Save the wave
