    Can you just use the cowl induction hoods like the '73-'74s had?

    I don't know the compatibility of those years hoods to the 1980 body. But it wouldn't matter because 1) they wouldn't clear my current air cleaner assm and 2) I already have an aftermarket raised-cowl hood. But where the original design intent of the hood was to have the open area, these hoods are manufactured to seal the entire compartment.
