80 - 82 Dash Repair/Replacement Products

To all fellow 80 - 82 owners,

In my driver side dash corner, the small v-shaped piece has kind of dry rotted and broken off. All other years of Vettes have a nice simple upper dash replacement piece that screws in rather easily. Our dash (the horizontal piece with the speaker covers) is one huge piece that makes up the entire interior dash. I just want to replace / repair / cover the flat upper dash section. Has anyone come across any after market pieces for this area ? or know of any possible repair techniques ? The full vertical section of my dash is immaculate. Thanx in advance for your help !!
