I stopped posting on CF several years ago, there was zero effort made by the moderators to control or delete posts by trolls or guys that were TOTALLY CLUELESS , but wanted to trash every idea or question posted, when new guys posted questions they were ridiculed and told to used the search feature , many guys on the site were old timers who had obvious never done much but repeat B.S. they had heard with zero real world experiance, when youve built and tested something like a corvette engine or have raced with certain combos for years , and you have some jerk argueing with you over something thats obviously well beyond and out of his experiance range and hes totally clueless its pointless to argue.
once the name calling and stupid pointless posts started I just left

I visit this site, the Corvette Forum and Digital Corvettes. I agree with everyone that the CF does have some very arrogant people over there at times but, there are quite a few good people as well. It's unfortunate that the jerks give that forum a bad reputation.
I even think Digital Corvettes was started by a former member of the CF after he got sick of all the childish BS going on over there; I could be wrong about that but, I seem to recall hearing it from somewhere.
Oh yea, I also visit the NCRS site too.

When it comes down to it, there's more than enough Corvette enthusiasts with computers to go around. Each forum has it's unique characters and characteristics. We're not truly in competition with each other since there's nothing to prevent anyone from belonging to all of the forums... and others beyond... and most of us (including myself) do exactly that.
We like to think we have a winning forumula (pun intended) in that we put less emphasis on the volume of posts (another pun?) and more on the content... quality over quantity...
It's always nice to read positive comments about what Rob has created and what we're trying to foster. Thank you all and Merry Christmas!!

I'm registered with every forum I'm aware of, mostly to keep my screen name out of the hands of undeserving.

Actually, I'm a memebr of the other forum too. I don't post there. I do however, like to keep tabs on the Northeast Events section, since thats where I live and it is really an active thread on CF.
But CAC will always be home to me!!
PS. Welcome to Mike also!!
