Default C1 headlamp switch question

I have a question on the headlamp switch.does it control the dome lights? meaning can you twist the knob to turn on the dome lights or do they just come on with the doors opening?

Both the plunger switches on the pillars AND the headlight switch knob (when turned fully counter-clockwise into its detent) turn on the courtesy lights; the circuit has 12 volts at the bulbs at all times, and any one of the three switches grounds the entire circuit.
