Default Rebuild of Posi-Unit

Hey guys, another problem. In rebuilding the rear in my '64 , I've been told to rebuild the posi-unit at the same time. I was told to look for a rebuild kit to replace the clutches. I can't find this anywhere. Am I using the correct terms and do you know who sells them? Help me if you can.

63's and 64's originally used a Dana Posi unit, and nobody has made parts for those Dana units for many years (which had design weaknesses, and was replaced in '65 by the Eaton posi unit). Most of them have been replaced over the years with the later Eaton posi, which can be rebuilt by any competent rear end shop.

Default Toms Differential to the rescue

Tom's Differential in Los Angelos. Has been doing rear end rebuilds for 30 years and has ALL THE PARTS. 562-634-8431 is their number. You can send them your unit and they will rebuild it, or exchange it or sell you the parts to rebuild your own unit. They have everything you need.

Default Toms Web site

I forgot,
Try www.tomsdifferentials.com

His web site explains all. Guldstrand, Eldebrock and all the long time LA Hot Roders have been using Tom's parts for years.
