    Default Rear end gear question?

    A friend of mine has a 67 BB with 3:57 ring and pinion gears. The question he's asking is, will a 4:11 ring and pinion gear set bolt into the 3:57 differential housing? Any help would be appreciated. 84 CF 91 ZR-1

    Yup, the 4.11's will fit in the diff housing, but he'll have to buy a new Series 4 carrier (Posi case) for that ring & pinion, as the lateral offset is different.

    Thanks for the info C-2 guys. He made a decision to go with 3:90 gears. A Richmond 6 speed currently resides in his 67 so he should be fine with the 3:90 gears, again thanks. 84 CF 91 ZR-1
