Default Stripes on at the Museum?

I am ordering a 2011 Grand Sport convertible as soon as the blue tops are ready. If I include the Heritage package, can I get stripes put on, if I go with museum delivery?

Since the stripes are a dealing installation... and since the NCM is taking over the duties of delivery prep, and conduct the actual delivery, then I would think the stripes would be part of the extra $$ NCM collects during the delivery process.

A call down to NCM should clear this up for ya

Making too much of a non-issue. Thanks so much. Looking forward to my first vette. Had a Z28. This is so different. Thanks again.

The NCM is completely certified in preparation and delivery of your Vette. If the stripes are "dealer installed", the NCM staff will perform those duties. In some cases, the NCM personnel do a lot better job prepping the car than dealerships do.

Agree. My first vette. Took a few decades more than I would have liked, but now I can do it and you are right. Museum delivery it is. Thanks!

Sure thing. Stopped by dealer today. He's hearing blue rag top should be in soon. 7 weeks after order, than 2-3 weeks more for museum appointment, than pics on the way

That for most of us would be a once in a life time deal. I am wanting for my turn.......maybe they should sell used corvettes over there and maybe I'd get my turn....any rate make it the best time you can then show us pictures.

You are very fortunate to get your Jetstream Blue GS as Corvette has discontinued Cyber Gray, Crystal Red and Jetstream Blue for the 2011 series. The reason is that the pigment used in the three colors, Xirallic - to give the color a sheen, was only produced at one plant. This plant is located in Japan and the earthquake and tsumani has evidently affected production. Congratulations - your GS looks terrific with the stripes. NCM did a great job.

    Default Jsb

Thanks! I love my new sweet ride. Ride back from museum was exceptional.

My understanding from the plant tour is JSB was scheduled to be discontinued in March. We saw the last few come off the line. The red and gray are issues with Japan.

Just under the wire JSB is sweeeet.
