Default It's pretty basic.

Hi, just pull out your old carpet, let the new ones sit in the sun and go from the front to the back . Use the old carpet as a template, if your not sure just cut a little bigger and than trim for the final fit. PG.

Seat track U flaps not cut in this pic.

Reinforcement carpet behind seats goes to floor. Front carpets fit over this piece on the floor behind the seats.

78-82 shown, but installation is essentially the same for the earlier cars. Rear carpet will mount to rear wall, then run along the rear storage area floor to the storage compartments. '68s will have wheel house carpets, left and right.

Mike,
How much cementing did you do? My entire rear compartment was cemented and nothing up front. What did you use for cement or glue. I"ve seen aerosol 3M products recommended. Thanks for post pictures, nice job.. Jim

I used 3M spray adhesive when I carpeted my '68. No cement on the fronts since the door sills and seats keep them in place. Cement on the wheel house carpets; a little on the floor of the rear storage carpet. None on the back wall. There were vestiges of the old original cement on the floor of the rear storage compartment, but all the old carpet came up without much ado. Cement on the reinforcement carpet only where it passes over the top of the reinforcement and tucks in by the storage compartment frame.
