Meh, coming back from Las Vegas last weekend I hit 157 w/ the wife in the car...safe to say, she wasn't happy. FWIW, I did not do this on a two lane road...nice stretch of interstate w/ no cars in sight...and, as weak as this may sound; I'd been dying to open her up the whole trip and only did it that one time...probably not smart but what a rush.

When I did 150 in my C5 I was safely on an empty autobahn on Germany. Safely is a relative term I guess.

First week I tried to get in all of the first five gears with petal to floor. Interstate no traffic insight except for a speeding pickup mile and 1/2 ahead. About the time the daughter said oh my I shifted to 5th and stepped on it. Oh my somebody strunk the interstate into a paved goat path. Visions of orange suits and silver braclets. Autoban sounds good to me!
