Default Gail on the rear-wheel dyno

This is the first series of dyno runs I did on my Vette (I call her Gail). During these runs, the engine was running RICH. I embarked on a quest to see what was causing it, and later in March, I finally discovered that the THERMAC sensor caused the rich condition by closing the cold air intake flaps at WOT.

My Z was running rich too. In my case, it was the factory rich conservative tune. I had it tuned by Chuck from Corvettes of Westchester this weekend. Gained 25 plus HP - primarily from losing the rich setting at 3,000 rpms and up. And it runs good too!
