Default 68 linkage question..

When I'm accelorating through the gears, everything works well. When Im downshifting from 4th to 3rd, and remove my hand from shifter, it pops out of 3rd gear. And then when I go from 3rd to 2nd it wont go in, but if I nudge it just a tad into 1st it will then go into 2nd.
Suppose it is linkage or something internally worn out.

Try a linkage adjustment first (procedure is in the assembly manual and shop manual); if that doesn't help (and your clutch is correctly adjusted), it's probably worn synchros.
