Default What year was the digital #s changed to be bigger?

On my 84 vette the digital readout in the center for battery and oil pressure are really small and on newer ones they are bigger and easier to read, what year did GM change it?

Just a corvette trivia question?

I know in ’85 they changed the angle of the dash from the ’84s orientation to combat glare... but not sure about the readouts.
