Headliner Removal (96) Trick or Tips?

I searched previous posts and found numerous references to replacing the headliner material but not much on removing the headliner from the roof panel itself. One post referenced a velcro backing on an '84. On 96 it appears to be a foam board that is glued down (?). And if so the foam seems somewhat delicate to simply 'pry' up from the corners.

Only idea I had was to get something flexible and work it around the edges and underneath...

Appreciate any tips or tricks
