2005 C6 Red Coupe
Default Battery

Has anyone had problems with the battery on their C6? Recently I had to have two batteries replaced and thank God the car was under warranty. The dealer stated that Chevy knew there was an issue with the cells on the battery and they are always replacing them. I have a 2K5 if it makes a difference..

I had the same problem with my 2006 convertible. I bought an Optima Red Top battery and the problem never returned.

Masking repairs with aftermarket batteries, why?
You have a warranty.
2005 had a PCM update for battery drainage.
2006 and newer should be diagnosed.
Also, dont store your transmitter within 10 ft of the car.
And the battery will last the 3 weeks stated without starting.
If it doesnt, have it accurately diagnosed.
And thats a line about the batteries.
