Default How long has 1/144th scale been around?

I wasn't aware of it until I got this for re-joining the NHRA:


I wondered why it said "Caution: Choking Hazard" all over the box.

I saw that size at a Dept. store a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I thought they were just little cars for kids so I looked for a little Jeep but couldn't find one.

I guess that's why it says "Adult Toy" on the package. But wait a minute, I thought adult toys were....okay I'll keep quiet.
