Default Black Magic Wet Shine Liquid Wax

I use Black Magic Wet Shine Liquid Wax - a Consumer Reports #1. It takes a little longer to dry, but durability is high. (note I have a C5, not exactly the same body material as a C4 - but I've recommended this wax to other C4 users who have been pleased)

I moved this to Care & Detailing as I think you'll have better response there.

I used the clay bar that came in the Zaino kit on the 94 vert and the 02 coupe. Works great, especially if you follow up with the rest of the Zaino products. The starter kit is about $90, and Sal will answer any question you have through an e-mail. I tried the Turtle Wax Liquid Clay Bar on my three S-10s Labor Day weekend and found that it did a great job. Was not really impressed with the Turtle Wax Ice though. The great advantage of the liquid clay bar over the clay bar itself is that you don't drop it (I have a tendency to drop things that should not be dropped). If you drop the clay bar, it is advisable to discard it. The liquid clay bar does not stain the black weather stripping nor trim. The liquid Turtle Wax Ice does not stain the weather stripping or trim either, but I will use Zaino to finish the job. GMJunkie uses both Turtle Wax products and his photos of his work is impressive.

Looking at the pics of your yellow beauty, I think you would be pleased with a clay bar application. If you use the clay bar rather than the liquid clay bar, make sure you use a lubricant with it for it to work.

Hope to see you in Cleveland.

Barrett

Thanks Barrett, yep I will be at the Cleveland Cruise Fest, the Lord willing and the creek don't rise. I have two grandsons in the Cleveland area that will be chomping at the bit to ride with me. I expect to have a grand ole time. Looking forward to seeing you there. Scott
