Mackinaw city Michigan hosts nice event for Corvettes every year. This year on Aug 24th to 26th see Mackinaw City web site for info. Nice location right on Lake Huron. at the Mackinaw Bridge. Weather looks to be cooperating as well. :):w

Our drive up from St. Clair was a little wet but weather cleared Friday afternoon. Saturday show had hundreds of Vettes. Parade was well attended. I overheard 252 Vettes went across Makinaw bridge for the parade event. Show cars included not too many C1 vettes, quite a few C2, lots of C4,C5s.Nice event right down town at the Mackinaw Crossings mall Parking lot. Car wash was buisy since it rained Friday but still managed to see some quality Vettes gettin a bath. The Yellow 67 Big block sounded awsom in the confines of the Carwash bay. I guess it is true, Size does matter, that guy had all the ladies staring at the car as he dried off in the parking lot. Fun stuff, made for nice weekend trip with the Vette.
