Default Bypassing AC Compressor Lt1 Motor

Its a little late now for me to be asking this question, as I've already ordered a new AC compressor, but I was just curious to see if anyone has done this. I wasn't sure if a certain idler pulley could be used in place of the compressor, or if it would be possible to put a smaller belt on. I was told that both were good possiblities and I was seriously considering doing one of the above instead of shelling out the cash for a compressor.

Do a search. Someone makes a AC delete bracket and pulley.

Rich K

It supposedly works on L98's and Lt1's.
