Default 97 Inside Door Trim Rivet Removal?

What is the procedure for removing the five rivets that fasten the handle/lock trim? I need to reuse this trim if possible.

I flipped this over to the C5 section.

Sorry I don't have this answer for you. I hope somebody over here can chime in soon with the info you need.

Default Rivets

I replaced the window seal rubber on my 94 yesterday. While this is probably different then what your talking about you can do the same. I removed the door panel ( no rivets there ) and then just drilled the heads off the window rubber strip rivets with a drill. They are soft aluminiun and drill real easy. Once the head is off you can just push them in with a punch or something small like a phillips screwdriver. Go buy a rivet gun and some of the same size rivets to put it back together. A decent rivet gun is less than 20 bucks but stay away from the real cheap ones. I think I paid 16.00 for a Arrow. A Stanley was about the same.
