My Corvette(s):
99 Mag. Red Conv.
Default New Engine Designation

I happened to be with some people who should know (a dealer, a race team owner and an engine builder) that told a small group of us the new engine, which will be built at the GM Performance Build Center in Wixom, is going to be called the LS-9. I don't know if this is news to everyone, or if it has already been posted before. But I thought you might be interested in knowing.

Also, for those of you in the Detroit area, there will be an open house and car show at the Build Center next Monday, July 23, from 3:00 - 8:00 pm. The car show is already closed (and full), but you might be able to get onto the property to see the cars and, maybe, get inside. However, I believe you needed to pre-register for that.
