DIC Problem

Hi All,
I've just encountered an interesting problem with the DIC on my 2004 CE model. More specifically, the issue is with the oil life moniter. After an oil change at our local Corvette Service shop (sorry, no garage, no ramps, no jackstand

) the mechanic reset the oil life monitor but when he restarted the engine it reverted back to the previous reading of 7%. He did this a couple of times but couldn't resolve the issue. I checked for related threads and found suggestions of how to reset the monitor but nothing as specific as my current problem. I've personaly reset it using the reset button as well as the accelerator method. Both methods successfully reset the monitor to 100% but after a restart it went back to 7%. Has anyone seen anything this?

I have never heard of that. Are you certain the reset procedure was done correctly? I hope that Paul (c4c5specialist) will be along shortly. He would know more about this.
