Default Ole Miss Women's Basketball or Local Girl Done Good

I've known Renee since she went to elementary school with my younger sibs. She started her basketball career at Lyman as a fiesty, quick little guard with the heart of a Champ! She started her coaching career at North Gulfport 7th and 8th Grade School after I turned down the job because I couldn't take the pay cut. Bet she doesn't know that.

Looks like I'll have to make an Ole Miss game this year! Way to go, Renee! We're very proud of you!!

.........................Ladner, an integral part of the Rebel basketball staff for the past four seasons, was selected to be Ross’ successor and consequently becomes the sixth head coach in Ole Miss women’s basketball history. Ladner, who is known for her extraordinary motivational skills as well as her ability to develop highly skilled basketball players, will be taking over the reigns of a collegiate program for the first time in her career.

It is! I've known Renee's family for years and rented from her brother, lived next to her parents, went through Hurricane Frederick with her and her future husband Eddie... you get the picture.

I'm excited about her promotion and very proud of her.
