Police seek Corvette involved in crash
By MATT COUGHLIN
Bucks County Courier Times

MIDDLETOWN - Middletown Police are looking for a red Corvette that struck two vehicles in the parking lot of the Woodbourne Square Shopping Center Tuesday evening.

Police said the Corvette should have noticeable front-end damage, particularly the right fender and possibly the hood from a trailer hitch. The vehicle struck the rear of a pickup truck about 6:30 p.m. and pushed the truck into a Mercedes that was parked in the lot, police said. The driver — described as a man about 50 years old with a thin build who answers to “Preston” — got out, looked at the two vehicles, and drove away westbound on Route 213 and then northbound on Woodbourne Road, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Dan Donahue at 215-750-3845, ext. 267.

Must be some bogus info there. A man over 50--with a thin build---driving a Vette. No way man, must have been stolen. I'd kill for a thin build at my age.

Rumor has it that the guy in the pickup backed into the red Corvette - got so shook-up he then lunged forward and hit the Mercedes. At that point he got of the truck and pointed a gun at the guy in the Vette. Fearing for his life - the Corvette driver made a hasty retreat west on Route 213.
